What is SSP?
SSP is a therapy based off the Polyvagal Theory (how we respond to stress) developed by Dr. Stephen Porgres. This therapy music is designed to stimulate the Vagus Nerve in the ear, which is responsible for calming the nervous system and strengthens the ear muscles.
SSP can be very beneficial to kids with a trauma background, PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, sleep problems, and many more day to day struggles.
Dr. Kostecke is a certified SSP provider and would love to get you or your child started!
Below is a picture of the three vagal stages, also known as the three states of being. SSP is proven to bring many users back to the ventral state.
